I’m a black man raised by a single mother in Dallas, Texas. To escape my circumstance, I worked to perfect my craft with the sport of football. It became my identity from the time I was 3 until trying to make a career in the NFL. Since then, I’ve made the difficult transition from sports to the real world.
Once I moved back to Dallas I happen to move across the street from The Richards Group. The more knowledge I gain about the industry the more I realize that the lack of diversity is a problem and I’m committed to change that in the work I do but also in bringing more people in of color. As a strategist in this industry, I want other black people to see me and know that it’s possible to be at a better position than I’m in.
